Welcome
Hello and welcome to the site of mbcphotography, all images are the copyright of Marcia Carpenter ARPS. I am a photographer with a passion for sailing and photography combining the 2 whenever possible. Having had a love of athletics and other sports from a young age I now find myself drawn to photography in a variety of sporting events for both able bodied and disabled sportsmen and women. At the present time I am fortunate to be working with the Disabled Photographers' Society and Volleyball England following matches at all levels from now until the Olympic and Paralympic Games.
The other very different area of photography that I enjoy is fine art photography, I define this as a photo of anything people are happy to put on display in their home or workplace, for this I use a combination of digital and traditional methods although time and cost has meant most of my work is now on full frame digital SLR's.

My work has been published by the Sunday Telegraph Magazine, Yachts and Yachting Magazine, and Sailing Today, as well as various county based magazines, Calendars and leaflets.
Work has also been exhibited at the Atruim Gallery London, The Menier Gallery, London and ArtSpace, Cambridge, Hampton Court Palace and Kew Gardens, as well as smaller venues throughout the UK.
